Al Martine, IV

With a background in non-profit within the United States of America and internationally, Al A. Martine IV has the necessary skill set to be able to develop the overarching mission, fundraising and strategy for The Fireball Foundation. Al moved from his home state of West Virginia to Charlotte, North Carolina after graduating from West Virginia University with a BS in Business Administration.

For the next three years he worked in Fundraising for the YMCA of Greater Charlotte rising to Director of Fundraising before he moved to London, England. Al continued working in the non-profit industry as the Development Manager for a charity who supports people who are hard of hearing.

While in London Al completed his MBA at London Business School (ranked number 2 in the world by FT), before accepting an offer from a leading consulting firm to move back to America where he currently resides.

Al Martine, III

West Virginia has been home to Al Martine III for over 40 years. After graduating with a BS in Journalism and a Masters in Speech Communication from West Virginia University, Al embraced the cable television industry holding a variety of management roles within Cox Cable and WNOW-TV9.

When an opportunity presented itself to own a local radio station in Beckley, West Virginia, Al decided to relocate to the Beckley area and become part of the local communication community. A near fatal accident changed Al’s life and over the next four years he retrained within the educational field. Obtaining his Masters in Education Administration from Marshall University Al integrated himself into the local Beckley education system starting as a teacher and later becoming the Principal of a local high school.

Al is an experienced fundraiser who understands education within West Virginia. Well known within the local community he has developed key contacts within the healthcare, educational, political, housing, military and WVU Alumni communities.
